Two More Pieces!!

I've been feeling so blessed tonight and have spent these quiet late night hours thanking the Lord.  I then went on FB and a sweet friend and big fan of our family :) , messaged me and said they would love to buy two more puzzle pieces.  I have to confess that I totally forgot about this fundraiser.  The last time we sold pieces was 8 months ago!  I'm just so thankful and moved by the love and care our friends and family have for this special little guy.

Now, I am off to bed with a full and thankful heart.    Goodnight, everyone.

On the same day that I posted about our excitement over more pieces being sponsored I received and email notification about a new donation!!  Five more pieces were sponsored!!!  Yes!!  What a blessing......again.   Thank you!

119 Pieces!

Yay!!  A few days after I posted my last update here a family blessed us with sponsoring 4 more puzzle pieces!  Forty more smackaroos!  What an awesome blessing!  I can't wait to add this family's name on the back of those pieces, our little one will know just how many people loved him and wanted him home with his family.  :)

Poor Little Puzzle

Our poor little puzzle has been sitting there only 2/3 of the way done.  Poor poor puzzle.  ;)  I would like to see this puzzle complete.  I would LOVE to see different names on the backs of each piece declaring to our little one the love and support and efforts that were made to bring him home.  Because of financial constraints we could only raise enough money for one international fee.  However, we will need help with travel costs, or there's still time to raise another $14,000 technically, so I am giving one final plea (maybe :-P) for anyone to sponsor a puzzle piece and be a part of this child's journey to us, his family.  Only ten bucks a piece and could y'all share this on your FB page?  I know, I know you're asking "haven't you done this already?".  Yes, yes I have, but when it comes to getting our child safely home, I will do whatever it takes.  So there.  ;)  I would love to see this puzzle get filled in, wouldn't that be great?!  Thanks!

125 Pieces!!

I thought our puzzle fundraising days were over.  But then I woke up this morning to a donation notification in my email box.  Someone, a complete stranger, sponsored 10 pieces!!!  A fellow adoptive family trying to raise their own funds to adopt two sweeties from Haiti as well!!!!  Amazing.  We have found so much support from the adoptive community......it's really an amazing group of people.

I know so many of you have donated already, but thought I would just throw this puzzle fundraiser out there as a reminder, just in case, it can't hurt right? :)  Anyway, God is moving some GIGANTIC mountains and we are closer....wish I could share, but will as soon as I'm able.  Just keep praying for us!

115 Pieces!!

If you keep up with our adoption blog, www.destaourjoy.blogspot.com, you are already aware of the frustrating circumstances we are facing. If you don't know the whole updated story click on the link over there on the right side bar. We had a few discouraging days last week feeling as if this adoption will take FOREVER to happen. However, God once again stepped in and so graciously filled our hearts and souls with that wonderful peace that passes all understanding. We have also been blessed by friends and family with generous donations to sponsor puzzle pieces. In the last two weeks we have had 28 pieces sponsored for a total of 115!! Woohoo! I'm thrilled to add $280 to our fundraising gauge. I love that we received these donations at a time when we needed some encouragement and reminders that God is still working and moving. We know without a doubt that He will provide for this. We are so excited that we are just a dollar amount away from meeting our little ones. This mountain of money we need seems so huge and unreachable to our mere human minds, but it's just a drop in the bucket for our Lord. Please continue to pray for us and for the little ones waiting for us!

87 Pieces and Counting!!

We were able to add eleven more pieces this past week and we are so thankful!! There are 165 left that are just waiting to be sponsored. They're getting lonely in that dark, cold storage box! :) They are just $10 a piece! Thank you!!
